Dear Readers,

In the spirit of continuous learning and exploration, we are excited to share a special feature from our students’ journey – a delightful exploration of shapes and their Sanskrit names. Our Class 2 students have been on an intriguing journey to understand and identify various shapes, adding a unique touch of Sanskrit to their learning experience.

*Discovering Shapes and Their Sanskrit Names*

During this engaging activity, our young learners have been introduced to different types of shapes and their corresponding Sanskrit names. Here’s a glimpse of what they’ve explored:

1. *Square (वर्ग):* Students discovered that a square has four sides of equal length, and in Sanskrit, it’s known as “वर्ग” (Varga).
2. *Rectangle (आयत):* With keen observation, they understood that a rectangle has two pairs of opposite sides, and in Sanskrit, it’s referred to as “आयत” (Ayata).
3. *Circle (वृत्त):* Our students explored the concept of a circle’s constant distance from its center and learned that it’s called “वृत्त” (Vritta) in Sanskrit.
4. *Triangle (त्रिभुज):* Lastly, they identified the three-sided wonder and its various types, all while learning that it’s named “त्रिभुज” (Tribhuj) in Sanskrit.

This engaging activity not only developed their cognitive skills but also introduced them to the beauty of Sanskrit terminology. It’s a testament to our commitment to offering a holistic learning environment that celebrates both tradition and modernity.

We hope you enjoy this insightful journey into shapes and their Sanskrit names as much as our students did while embarking on it. Keep reading, keep learning!
