Activity: Skit on Climate change.
House : Red
Today students of class 11 and 12 along with other junior students prepared a skit on Climate change. As Climate change is obviously one of the key changes that our planet is currently facing, other phenomena that may interact with climate change include habitat destruction, pollution of air and water and global warming.
As greenhouse gas emissions blanket the Earth, they trap the sun’s heat. This leads to global warming and climate change. The world is now warming faster than at any point in recorded history.
Learning outcomes-
students should be able to:
know the impacts that climate change is having on the natural environment;
understand what is green house effect and how does it contribute in changing climate of earth.
understand how climate change has the potential to exacerbate air pollution with potentially life threatening consequences.
-recognize how systems work by seeing the relationships between climate and other forms of environmental change
