Footprints of Freedom: Dandi March Day Celebration

Event Name : Dandi March Day Celebration
In Karmaneya School Of Excellence school, we celebrated Dandi March Day with great enthusiasm. Children participated by dressing up as Mahatma Gandhi and his fellow marchers, wearing their attire. They delivered speeches commemorating the event and its significance in the struggle for independence. It was a wonderful celebration, with students embodying the spirit of Gandhi and his followers.

Throughout the day, educational sessions are conducted to deepen students’ understanding of the historical context and relevance of the Dandi March in shaping India’s independence movement. Discussions and debates explore themes of social justice, activism, and the power of peaceful protest, inspiring students to uphold the values of truth and righteousness in their own lives. Service projects may also be organized, aligning with Gandhi’s principles of selflessness and community upliftment, thereby fostering a sense of civic responsibility and empathy among the school community. Dandi March Day serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who paved the way for India’s freedom, while also igniting a sense of duty to uphold the principles of justice and equality for generations to come.
